Bookkeeper Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records, process accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and prepare financial reports.

  • Maintain up-to-date financial records and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in QuickBooks.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Assist with payroll processing, compliance with tax regulations, and other accounting-related tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks is essential (both Online and Desktop versions).
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other accounting software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is an asset.
