Associate Technical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Associate Technical Consultant. This role involves providing technical consulting, guidance, and enablement to customers to achieve value quickly.

• Engage with customers by providing technical consulting and guidance to help them adopt the Workato platform for integration and automation from both business and technical perspectives.
• Work closely with customer business and technical stakeholders to define and drive best practices.
• Assist in extending the functionality of the Workato product and continuously improve engagement best practices.

This is a remote role that requires strong collaboration skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills with an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Provide technical consulting and guidance to customers to help them achieve value quickly.
• Engage with customers to gather integration and automation requirements and lead the solution design process jointly with customers.
• Share best practices from a business and technical perspective related to deployment models, governance structures, integration design and build.
• Work closely with Product and Engineering to review customer requirements and feedback, and identify opportunities for Workato platform enhancements while managing customer expectations.
• Act as a trusted customer advisor and advocate within the organization.
• Participate in post-onboarding deployment health checks and provide guidance on integration and process optimizations.
• Contribute to the growth of the team by creating or enhancing content such as presentations, demos, best practices, architecture patterns, and online courses for use by customers and the extended team.
• Prioritize and deliver an outstanding customer service experience to Workato customers.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in solutions and implementation consulting.
• Knowledge and understanding of integrations and system design principles.
• Good understanding of technology and industry trends, especially in the app integration space.
• Good understanding of database technologies, such as SQL and Postgres.
• Demonstrated good understanding of on-premise infrastructure & cloud-based deployments, configurations, along with monitoring & management.
• Demonstrated understanding of the SDLC & end-to-end experience in developing, supporting & troubleshooting integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to create quality technical documentation.
• Experience working with at least one (1) Integration Platform, such as Workato, Tray, TIBCO, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, WebMethods, Oracle Integration Suite.
• Experience working with cloud business apps like Workday / NetSuite / Salesforce / ServiceNow / SAP is a plus.
• Experience with web development frameworks and knowledge of JS frontend and backend is a plus.
