Private Equity Fund Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant to provide accounting services for private equity fund clients.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage transaction preparation and processing, and generate financial reports for review and analysis.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and accurately, providing clear and concise information.
  • Review calculations for fees, including management fees, capital calls, distributions, carried interest, and waterfall structures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle investor communications, including notices for capital calls and distributions, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of quarterly and annual financial reports with international and US accounting standards.
  • Support year-end audits by assisting clients in responding to external auditors' inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
  • Aid in onboarding new funds and launching existing ones by defining customized service models to meet client needs.
  • Contribute to the development of technology solutions that enhance reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes, improving overall productivity.
  • Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technological advancements to remain competitive and knowledgeable.

Key Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Internationally recognized accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, CA).
  • At least 6 years of accounting experience, particularly in private equity, with a strong understanding of various accounting standards.
