Client Service Officer/Paraplanner

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires an experienced professional to support a leading Australian financial advisory practice. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in client services, paraplanning, or a similar role in financial planning/wealth management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end client service processes to ensure seamless client experiences with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare Statements of Advice (SoAs), Records of Advice (RoAs), and other compliance-related documents in a timely manner.
  • Support financial advisers by handling paraplanning tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain and update client records in CRM systems for optimal results.
  • Liaise with product providers and clients to follow up on applications, transactions, and outstanding requirements promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian financial services regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in client services, paraplanning, or a similar role in financial planning/wealth management.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning processes and compliance requirements for success.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while maintaining excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to liaise confidently with advisers, providers, and clients.
  • Proficiency with financial planning software, CRMs, and Microsoft Office Suite for efficient workflow management.
