Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Issue Resolution: Identify and work to remove barriers to successful completion of the overall project, with particular emphasis on resolving issues with subcontractors.
  2. Project Status Updates: Provide timely project status updates to the Project Managers, submitting for resolution those problems and issues that cannot be resolved at lower levels.
  3. Database Management: Maintain and update the company database.
  4. Reporting: Generate customized reports and utilize VLOOKUP functionality.
  5. Contract Management: Create and track contracts, purchase orders, submittals, and complete project close-out manuals.
  6. Vendor Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact with external vendor representatives and functional consultants on overall strategic and technical project matters.
  7. Correspondence: Handle all correspondence between the general contractor, owner, architect, and subcontractors.
  8. Task Assignment: Assign work in OFS to crews/contractors.
  9. Tracking: Monitor and update spreadsheet trackers.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to resolve complex problems and issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A construction background.
  • Purchasing experience.
  • Norad and Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Telecom experience is required.
