Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished data professional to join our team as a Database Script Engineer. This role will play a pivotal part in designing and implementing scalable database solutions that drive business growth.

About the Role
  • Dig into complex schemas, analyze performance metrics, and build tools to support high-impact initiatives.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic data-driven projects.
  • Become a subject matter expert in AWS RDS PostgreSQL and MariaDB environments.
Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement efficient database scripts to meet customer needs.
  2. Analyze and optimize database performance to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Collaborate with product managers to identify data-driven opportunities for growth.
  4. Develop and maintain internal tooling to streamline data delivery.
  5. Support one-off requests and ad-hoc reporting needs with speed and precision.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MariaDB in AWS RDS environments.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with Java-based ORMs and schema design principles.
