About the Role

This role plays a critical part in ensuring our customers can use our platform to its full extent while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will work closely with other security measures to identify and prevent non-compliant messaging and bad actors who attempt to send fraudulent content.

In this role, you'll become highly skilled in spotting suspicious activity and take appropriate action to protect our platform and customers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and approve live message content to identify potential fraud, spam, and phishing attempts.
  • Detect, report, and take action against fraudulent activity, including blocking suspicious accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stay up-to-date on regulatory and compliance updates.
  • Develop and document internal knowledge articles, training materials, and customer-facing collateral related to Compliance and Monitoring.
  • Educate customers on content guidelines and responsible messaging practices.
  • Act as an escalation point and Subject Matter Expert for compliance-related issues.
  • Report on SLAs, analyze performance, and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.

Qualifications

  • English is your primary language; secondary languages are a plus, particularly Spanish.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably with high detail orientation and leadership elements.
  • At least two years of experience providing live chat customer support for a software/SaaS platform.
  • Critical thinking, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills in English.
  • Ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
  • Proven experience working autonomously and in cross-regional and functional environments.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, ability to adapt to a growing team.
