Structural Design Position

The role of a structural detailer is pivotal in delivering high-quality modeling services. This position requires a strong grasp of building information modeling (BIM) and Autodesk Revit, as well as exceptional communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed drawings and Revit models that meet quality standards
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on own work and collaborate with other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Design complex model geometry and create special conditions/complex family items
  • Present considerations and BIM content guidelines
  • Work closely with the team to gather project information and verify drawings are accurate and complete
Skill Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Structural Design certification
  • At least 3 years of full-time work experience in structural design
  • Experience in mid-sized structural projects
  • Strong knowledge of Tekla, SDS/2, StrucSoft, and concrete, steel, wood, light gauge, and/or masonry design
