Senior Tax Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced tax professional to lead our team in delivering exceptional service to clients.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead the preparation of individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns using advanced tax software.
  • Review and approve tax returns prepared by staff members.
  • Provide expert advice on tax planning and consulting services to clients.
  • Manage engagement scope, deadlines, and budgets to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Supervise and train tax accountants to enhance their technical skills and expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding complex tax issues and deliverables.
  • Identify and resolve technical tax issues, involving senior management when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and industry developments.
  • Oversee the implementation of tax systems and applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • CPA license required.
  • Master of Taxation or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of tax experience, including leadership roles.
  • Advanced proficiency with tax software and applications.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team supervision and coaching.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with ability to see the big picture.
  • Ability to recognize when an issue needs escalation to senior management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis on Excel and Word).
