Job Description:

This position offers a unique opportunity to drive process improvements in Accounts Payable operations.

  • Leverage expertise to streamline transactions and enhance client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration of services.
  2. Maintain delivery of service level agreements (SLAs) and manage day-to-day operations, staffing, and schedules.
  3. Regularly review aged reports, payment proposals, and vendor reconciliations to optimize financial outcomes.
  4. Nurture relationships with clients' finance and accounting teams to foster trust and cooperation.
  5. Implement and monitor process controls, quality assurance plans, and risk mitigation initiatives to minimize errors and maximize efficiency.
  6. Identify opportunities for continuous process enhancements and address escalations promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is an asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense teams, with at least 10 full-time employees, in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) or Shared Service environment.
  • Proven track record of leading teams in transactional processing environments, ERP systems, and client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to facilitate effective meetings with clients.
  • Highly customer-centric, with excellent people management skills and a strong team player mindset.
  • Ability to work in night shifts and business-grade centers.
