Financial Planning and Business Development Officer

As a Financial Planning and Business Development Officer, you are responsible for providing financial insights and advice to respective segments when making decisions with a financial impact.

  • Conducts financial planning and analysis activities including the development of consolidated financial plans, budgets and forecasts, operational expenditure and capital expenditure across the organisation and operating units/segments as required
  • Produces analysis of organisational and operating unit/segment performance against financial plans including key variances, trends, risks and opportunities and understands the impact on resource and funding allocations and performance
  • Supports the development of strategies and frameworks to improve financial and commercial literacy across the wider organisation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial analysis and provide recommendations to support business decision-making

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and reports to inform business strategy

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
