About the Role

As a Marketplace Specialist, you will be the primary point of contact for online clients, ensuring their needs are met, issues are resolved efficiently, and opportunities for business growth are maximized.

Your Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive business strategies for assigned clients to support channel growth.

Conceptualize and lead tailored marketing campaigns in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Align buying strategies with campaign planning to ensure business goals (sales, gross margin, and sell-through rate) are achieved.

Conduct post-campaign analysis to identify missed opportunities and develop action plans for future performance improvements.

Monitor competitor activities, pricing models, and promotional tactics to adapt effectively and maintain market edge.

Utilize data platforms and web analytics tools to monitor item visibility and enhance product presence across various platforms.

Continuously optimize listings, keywords, and content to drive discoverability and improve conversion.

Lead multiple initiatives, ensuring timelines, resources, and departmental collaboration are managed effectively.

Coordinate with Product, Finance, Operations, and Data teams to execute projects and align with business goals.

Stay current with market trends, customer preferences, emerging platforms, and competitive dynamics.

Manage top-tier clients with a focus on achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, E-commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • +5 years of experience in e-commerce, account management, or marketplace strategy.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and growth in a multi-channel or online marketplace environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, Power BI, and marketplace reporting tools.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, operations, finance, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and professionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management abilities and a knack for juggling multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Strategic thinker who aligns decisions and actions with the organization's broader business goals and demonstrates a clear understanding of market dynamics and financial impact.
