Financial Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial operations.

This role requires someone who thrives in details, takes responsibility for quality work, and approaches each task with urgency and follow-through. They will dig into source documents, validate data, and question inconsistencies. They ask questions about their work and others' work until it makes sense.

  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation and analysis of journal entries, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Lead end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, cash application, collections, and AR aging management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all.
  • Perform monthly recon of accounts receivable by matching invoices amounts to cash collected. Identify and resolve unmatched transactions, unapplied payments, or discrepancies that impact the integrity of the AR ledger.
  • Drive process improvements in the accounting department, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure cohesive workflows.
Responsibilities:Financial Closing
