">Job Purpose and Role

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer, proficient in Microsoft SQL Server 2019-2022. A strong understanding of SQL window functions, CTEs, and query optimization techniques is essential. The ability to read and interpret execution plans and recommend indexing improvements is also crucial.

">Responsibilities
  • Refactor and Optimize Complex Queries: Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, including nested subqueries and deeply layered SQL views.
  • Analyze and Improve Existing Code: Enhance the readability and performance of existing SQL code.
  • Work with Execution Plans: Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate indexing strategies.
  • Collaborate with Data/Reporting Teams: Convert dashboard SQL tools into reusable SQL Server views.
  • Maintain Database Code: Ensure that database code adheres to performance and scalability standards.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years hands-on experience as a SQL Developer
  • Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server 2019-2022
  • Strong understanding of SQL window functions, CTEs, and query optimization techniques
  • Experience refactoring deeply nested SQL views and complex subqueries
  • Ability to read and interpret execution plans and recommend indexing improvements
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and extracting SQL dashboards
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, readable code
