Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

Location: Remote from Asia with normal day time hours

Reporting to: Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish, implement and support technological solutions.
  • Setup CI/CD pipeline for production deploys.
  • Develop and improve our monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Create and maintain 'infrastructure as code' configurations to setup cloud environments on AWS and Cloudflare.
  • Implement methodologies and procedures to ensure system resilience and automatic recovery from failure with minimal intervention.
  • Engage in communications across all relevant departments of the organisation.

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS ideally with 1+ Associate level certification.
  • Work experience in infrastructure, database and network administration for highly available and scalable applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux System Administration and Bash scripting.
  • Proven experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and AWS Serverless technologies.
  • Familiarity with web services, APIs and RESTful architecture.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP and distributed networks.
  • Managing Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Familiarity with open-source monitoring stack of Grafana.
  • Development background – experience with Python, NodeJS, Nginx Configuration.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
