Cloud Security Architect Job

This role leads the design and implementation of enterprise cloud network security solutions, focusing on CASB and CNAPP technologies. The architect will manage Microsoft cloud security tools and contribute to the development of secure, scalable cloud environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Cloud-Native Security Architecture Design: Design and implement cloud-native security architectures and CASB strategies that meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps Management: Manage and configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, CNAPP, and Microsoft Entra ID to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Security Assessments and Audits: Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Cloud Security Policies and Standards: Develop and maintain cloud security policies, standards, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Collaborate with engineering teams to transition from hands-on implementation to strategic architecture and drive business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Cloud Network Security Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cloud network security engineering with a proven track record of designing and implementing secure cloud solutions.
  • CASB and CNAPP Expertise: Strong expertise in managing enterprise CASB and CNAPP solutions with experience in integrating multiple security tools and platforms.
  • Microsoft Cloud Security Technologies: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft cloud security technologies including Defender, Entra ID, and CNAPP with experience in configuring and managing these tools.
  • Network Security or Cloud Security Engineering Background: Background in network security or cloud security engineering with a strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Enterprise-Level Cloud Security Monitoring: Demonstrated experience in enterprise-level cloud security monitoring and solution deployment with a focus on proactive threat detection and mitigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 10+ Years of IT/Security Experience: 10+ years of overall experience in IT/security with a strong background in cloud security engineering and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Palo Alto Prisma or Vectra AI Experience: Experience working with Palo Alto Prisma or Vectra AI with a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  • Zscaler Familiarity: Familiarity with Zscaler and its use cases in cloud security with a strong understanding of its benefits and drawbacks.
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Communication Skills: Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
