Job Overview

This leadership position oversees the Derivatives Operations, Support and Solutions teams to ensure timely, accurate, and effective delivery of services across Asia, North America, and the UK.

The role provides functional oversight to enable the Derivative Services teams to efficiently deliver on change initiatives while maintaining high-quality business-as-usual (BAU) services for General Accounts and Asset Management businesses.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage operational risk and ensure issues are escalated and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with local and segment risk functions to cascade and communicate operational risk awareness and management practices.
  • Define and refresh service level standards across the domain and manage the delivery and reporting of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as defined in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and the Schedule of Services.
  • Oversee annual business planning and business unit goal setting.

  • Lead a growing team with responsibility for hiring, compensation, promotion, and performance management.
  • Develop capability and functional expertise through training, coaching/mentoring, succession planning, and mobility support.
  • Foster career progression and succession planning to enable internal mobility.

This role is crucial in driving strategic initiatives to deliver risk-averse scalability, transparency, and synergistic alignment across the function. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering collaboration and innovation across teams within the group and providing senior management support with a focus on digitizing governance and oversight models within the function.
