Job Title: Technical Trainer
Job Description:
This role is accountable for the effective implementation of technical training activities with a focus on skilled workers.
The Technical Trainer will collaborate with the Learning and Development Lead to create and implement a comprehensive technical training plan and strategy for skilled workers, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Create an overall technical training plan and implementation strategy for skilled workers that aligns with business objectives.
- Analyze and evaluate technical training courses and programs for skilled workers to identify areas for improvement.
The Technical Trainer will also be responsible for:
- Designing, developing and delivering supplemental technical skills enhancement training for workers, including course materials (handouts, presentation materials etc.) and assessment tools to evaluate learners.
- Liaise with relevant bodies and third-party technical training providers to ensure competency requirements for skilled workers on identified construction programs are met.
- Communicate key requirements for skilled workers to the project management team.
- Facilitate PCA - TESDA courses as part of our agreement.
- Previous work experience in construction engineering in a supervisory role.
- At least 3 years experience in teaching/training with a proven track record of success.
