Real Estate Financial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Accounting Specialist to manage financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate financial records for real estate properties, adhering to accounting standards
- Utilize advanced software, including Appfolio and Quickbooks online, for financial management and analysis
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Reconcile bank statements and record transactions accurately
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of real estate assets, providing insightful recommendations
- Assist with tax return preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Collaborate with property managers and stakeholders to provide expert financial support and guidance
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard sensitive financial data
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in real estate accounting
- Proficiency in Appfolio software and other accounting tools
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and real estate finance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- CPA certification
- Experience with tax preparation and compliance
- Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
