Job Summary

This position oversees key business support and operational functions, driving service delivery and process execution. It involves managing external partnerships and ensuring the effectiveness of solutions.

The incumbent will lead efforts to identify business opportunities and provide insights to enhance the overall business model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of key business support and operational functions
  • Accountability for quality service delivery and process efficiency
  • Adherence to internal and external service standards
  • Enablement of a positive customer experience
  • Establishment of governance around account management and process control
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
  • Collaboration with other areas of the business to ensure operational excellence
  • Oversee creation, delivery, and analysis of operational reporting and KPIs
  • Development and review of guidelines and policies to drive key behaviors and actions
  • Collaboration with leadership team to identify opportunities to optimize operations and cost efficiency
  • Accountability for business management of assigned strategic external partners
  • Leveraging knowledge of industry players to identify optimal firms or partners to engage
  • Monitoring of service level agreements, management reporting, and risk conditions
  • Business lead on assigned strategic and operational initiatives and projects

Requirements

  • 10+ years progressive experience including successful execution of complex projects
  • 10+ years leading large operational/administrative functions in the Global Shared Services industry
  • Demonstrated success in implementing process automation, efficiency, and service initiatives
  • Excellent understanding of financial services industry and business operations
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to support detailed business cases
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Influencing, negotiating, and conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible and exercise judgment in a changing environment
  • Collaborative and ability to work and influence cross-functional teams
  • Effective conceptual, diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strategic thinker
  • Ability to work in a non-structured environment
  • Process and change management abilities
  • Post-university degree or professional designation
