Senior Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our accounting services team in delivering record-to-report solutions across the Americas and EMEIA.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IFRS/US GAAP and prior experience in period end close, general accounting, reconciliation, financial reporting activities, and preparing financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of books.
  • Process journal entries, allocations, period-end adjustments.
  • Execute timely and accurate reconciliations across general ledger and sub-ledger accounts.
  • Support the development of tools and methodologies for project delivery.
  • Participate in meetings and interviews with client treasury personnel.
  • Develop creative, yet practical, solutions to help clients achieve their treasury and business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to key performance indicators and service level agreements.
  • Receive direction from the Manager and Senior Manager.
  • Maintain effective coordination with multiple stakeholders.
  • Variance Reporting & Analytical Review.
  • Build necessary documents like SOPs and other end-user training materials.
  • Use available guidance on USGAAP/IFRS for providing technical support as needed.
  • Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status.
  • Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports.
  • Support the development and management of relationships with external and internal clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience including experience in entity/BU reporting, financial statement close process support, and MIS reporting.
