Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio of video editing work, excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Manipulate and edit film pieces to create visually appealing stories
  • Take briefs from clients or stakeholders to understand their needs and specifications
  • Trim footage segments and assemble the sequence of the film as required
  • Add music, dialogue, graphics and effects to enhance the visual impact
  • Create rough and final cuts to ensure a smooth narrative flow
  • Evaluate and implement new editing technologies and best practices to improve efficiency
Requirements:
  • Mac user preferred, knowledgeable in iMovie or Finalcut Pro
  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor, with a solid track record of delivering high-quality work
  • Excellent knowledge of digital technology and editing software packages
  • Demonstrable video editing ability, with a strong portfolio that showcases creativity and technical skill
  • Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing techniques
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills, with the ability to bring ideas to life through video
