
Operational Billing Lead

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in billing and accounts receivable, with experience in managing subscription lifecycles in Stripe.
Responsibilities will include managing new setups, plan changes, proration, cancellations, reconciliations, and revenue tracking.
Dispute representment is also a key responsibility, involving preparation and submission of evidence packets to banks/card networks to protect company revenue.
Additionally, the selected individual will be responsible for executing and maintaining billing workflows in HubSpot, including automation of tickets and cross-team communication.
Supporting month-end close through AR aging reports, reconciliations, and cash collection forecasting is another critical task.
Investigating delinquencies by analyzing root cause, adjusting accounts, and handling outbound collections calls/emails when needed is an essential duty of this position.
Requirements:- At least 3 years of hands-on billing and accounts receivable experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
- Proven expertise with Stripe Subscriptions, not just invoice/payment processing.
- Direct experience preparing and submitting dispute representment evidence to banks/payment processors.
- Strong knowledge of HubSpot for AR/billing workflows.
- Familiarity with collections outreach (calls + email), but with a bias toward solving process and data issues behind delinquency.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for reconciliations, AR aging, and reporting.
- Prior exposure to US-based SaaS subscription billing.
- Track record of building or optimizing dunning workflows.
