Design Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a talented Design Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the design-driven architecture studio, you will play a crucial role in translating creative concepts into accurate, detailed documentation using Revit.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with a thoughtful, collaborative team on projects that focus on light, material, and context.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate and detailed construction documentation using Revit, including general arrangement plans (1:50), sections (1:20), and elevations (1:100)
  • Work with supplied Revit templates and follow established documentation styles
  • Interpret mark-ups, redlines, and verbal directions effectively
  • Communicate and collaborate with a small team in a remote environment
  • Manage your own time efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Support the team with proactive input and a collaborative attitude
Requirements:
  • Proven proficiency in Revit, with fast and accurate drafting/documentation skills
  • Solid experience in preparing construction documentation across multiple drawing types and scales
  • Strong understanding of Australian construction standards and documentation formats
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to drafting
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage tasks independently
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to contribute ideas
  • A portfolio of relevant documentation work is required
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation range for this role is between 1500 - 1800 AUD / Month
  • The client is offering a flexible work schedule that aligns with AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration
  • As a contractor, you will have the flexibility to manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines
