Enterprise Java Developer Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced and skilled Mid to Senior Java Developer to join our growing engineering team, building scalable enterprise applications that serve millions of users. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern Java development, cloud architecture, and enterprise-grade software solutions.

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and talented individual with a solid background in Java programming and experience with Spring Boot framework and Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud). They should also possess hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture, proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization, as well as knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

They will also have strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles, experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance, scalable Java applications using Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture on AWS cloud platform.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of professional Java development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Spring Boot framework and Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services industry experience (banking, payments, trading, or fintech).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements (PCI DSS, SOX, etc.).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK stack, DataDog).
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards.
  • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
