Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled residential credit analyst to assist mortgage brokers with administrative tasks related to loan applications. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to prepare comprehensive credit submissions, interpret complex financials, and stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with brokers to package deals and ensure optimal submission structures align with lender policies and client needs.
  • Prepare credit submissions for various lending scenarios, including refinances, purchases, and multiple applicants.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify financial details.
  • Conduct NCCP Compliance checks and transcribe notes from summaries to detailed responses.
  • Understand and interpret complex financials, such as self-employed income, SMSF, trusts, and company financials.
  • Complete lender servicing calculators and living expense analysis to assess borrowing capacity.
  • Research lenders with suitable policies for client requirements and provide guidance to ensure compliance and optimal loan structuring.
  • Order valuations and communicate with valuation firms as needed.
  • Pricing requests across multiple lenders for new applications and settled loans.
  • Generate and interpret comprehensive credit reports.
  • Assist in mitigating MIRs, Conditional Approvals, and Settlement Conditions.
  • Cross-check approval and settlement documents to ensure alignment with client requirements per submission.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • More than 4 years of experience in an Australian mortgage broking industry specializing in AU loan processing
  • Strong understanding of complex loan structures and loan types (multiple applicants, multiple securities, SMSF, company and trust lending, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of various income streams and ability in income calculations for PAYG, SMSF, company and trust financials
  • Experience with data entry of client information to CRM systems and data entry of loan applications into aggregator CRMs
  • Experience generating application paperwork (First Home Buyers, Discharge forms)
  • Proficiency in IT software, Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Project/Task Management Tools
