About the Role

As a Utility Engineer I, you will be responsible for inspecting and analyzing overhead electrical infrastructure to ensure accurate and reliable utility asset datasets.

  • Analyze and catalog overhead utility assets to ensure consistent data collection.
  • Learn to identify and document electrical utility equipment, faults, and potential hazards.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining utility asset datasets to support operational improvements.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with industry standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a lineman in the electric utility field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • Nice-to-have: Working knowledge of National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices.
Our Technical Environment

We utilize GIS software for utility asset mapping and analysis, data management tools for cataloging and reporting, communication platforms for collaboration, and industry-standard reference materials.
