Financial Data Analyst Position

We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a financial data analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and enhancing data-driven applications that unlock insights from vast and complex financial datasets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, with experience working with large-scale data sets and a solid understanding of software engineering best practices. Additionally, they should have experience with tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.

We're looking for someone who is passionate about data analysis and has a collaborative mindset. If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is excited about the opportunity to work with financial data, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing robust Python applications for financial data analysis, transformation, and enrichment.
  • Building dynamic dashboards and monitoring tools to visualize key metrics and support business decision-making.
  • Enhancing and supporting a suite of existing data applications and quality control systems.
  • Collaborating across teams to ensure data integrity, scalability, and usability of models and pipelines.
  • Applying software engineering best practices, including modular design, testing, and CI/CD processes.
Requirements:
  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience as a Python Developer with strong software engineering fundamentals (OOP, modular design).
  • Solid SQL skills and experience with large-scale data sets.
  • Experience with tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a collaborative mindset.
Desired Skills:
  • Industry experience in a computational or quantitative data science role.
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and commercial teams.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Exposure to machine learning, generative AI, or similar advanced analytics tools.
