We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist with experience in UK payroll and Sage 50 to handle payroll processing, employee records, and HR administration. This role is ideal for someone who is meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Process new starters and leavers.
  • Follow up with line managers for missing information or records as required.
  • Create and maintain up-to-date records of employee benefit information.
  • Collate timesheet data as required and process it in line with different payroll requirements.
  • Create and maintain all employee personnel files.
  • Assist or process weekly and monthly payrolls, including statutory returns.
  • Deal with employee salary and payroll queries.
  • Maintain the payroll database, including sickness and holiday absences.
  • Process paperwork associated with employment changes and variations to contracts.
  • Support reporting from payroll in line with business requirements.
  • Support the administration of annual pay reviews and HR statistics.
  • Accounts payable support, including posting purchase ledger invoices.
