Financial Statement Specialist

This role is designed for individuals with a strong background in finance and accounting who wish to work as an independent contractor or small business owner. As a Financial Statement Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, and providing advice on tax compliance and financial management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing annual and quarterly financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Developing and implementing financial planning and budgeting systems to ensure accurate financial data and timely decision-making
  • Conducting analysis of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to management
  • Reviewing and reconciling financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements

For this position, we require:

Qualifications and Skills
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification
  • Minimum 3 years experience in financial statement preparation and analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate results effectively to stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams
