Consolidation Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Consolidation Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This is a full-time employment position with excellent compensation and benefits package. The right candidate will have a strong accounting background, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work through complex reporting cycles.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with US GAAP. This will include maintaining various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures, preparing reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities, and reviewing standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Maintain various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures.
  • Reconciliation and Journal Entry: Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities, including equity method of accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.
  • Subsidiary Review: Review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting: A bachelor's degree in accounting is required. CPA or equivalent international certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 6-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience, including consolidations and US GAAP reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English with strong communication skills to explain complex concepts.
