Consolidation Associate

Makati City, National Capital Region, Philippines ACEN Shared Services, Inc. Full time $40,000 - $80,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs period-end (monthly, quarterly, annual) financial consolidation using the Group's consolidated system solution (Anaplan)
  • Coordinates the receipt of required information with various stakeholders/subsidiaries
  • Prepares monthly/quarterly/annual consolidated financial statements including relevant schedules and analysis as well as necessary disclosures
  • Does research on new accounting standards (PFRS, PAS, PIC, IFRIC, etc.), assists in the implementation and prepares disclosure requirements
  • Participates in the design, testing, and implementation of the Group's consolidation system solution
  • Continues to refine and develop intercompany policies and procedures, including intercompany reconciliations
  • Performs intercompany reconciliation and resolves intercompany data discrepancies throughout the month
  • Prepares information to help respond to management questions
  • Extracts and prepares ad hoc reports for management
  • Coordinates and collaborates with auditors to address audit requests and inquiries
  • Completes other Accounting, internal controls, research, and analytical projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Accountancy
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in external audit
  • Knowledge in Anaplan and familiarity with SAP Hana is a plus
  • Technically strong in Advanced Accounting 2 (Accounting for Business Combinations)
  • Open for hybrid (WFH and in-person) setup
