Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to provide essential administrative support for our finance department.

This role involves handling various financial tasks, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing financial documents, processing invoices, bills, and payments for vendors, suppliers, and internal departments with precision.
  • Maintaining up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review, providing valuable insights into company performance.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and filing of financial records, invoices, receipts, and other necessary financial documentation.
  • Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Monitoring and tracking company expenses, assisting in budget preparation, and providing forecasts to inform strategic decisions.
  • Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and schedules, ensuring smooth compliance processes.
  • Collaborating with the finance team on tax-related matters, such as VAT filings and compliance reporting.
  • Processing employee reimbursements, payroll-related tasks, and ensuring timely payments to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Maintaining effective communication with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers regarding payment schedules, invoices, and inquiries.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for financial knowledge.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or finance-related role, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry, showcasing relevant skills and expertise.
Key Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with advanced Excel skills for financial reporting and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and financial management systems, enabling efficient financial processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial data, invoices, and receipts.
  • Organizational skills, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per annum.
