Lead a comprehensive fraud management program that aligns with legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Spearhead the development of policies and procedures covering all aspects of fraud prevention, detection, and response across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Fraud Strategies: Formulate, implement, monitor, and maintain enterprise-wide fraud management programs to prevent financial crimes.
  • Spearhead Policy Development: Lead the creation of policies, standards, and procedures for fraud management, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Risk Assessment and Review: Conduct periodic reviews of internal fraud risks and identify gaps in the organization's fraud management program, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify Emerging Threats: Continuously analyze emerging financial crimes and perform gap analyses to improve the organization's security and controls.
  • Approve Preventive Measures: Serve as approver for identification of potential financial crime threats and determine preventive/detective controls for new products, channels, and facilities related to client onboarding and internal fraud.
Leadership and Stakeholder Management
  • Provide Guidance: Offer expert advice in resolving complex issues within the specialized area and solve problems affecting cross-functional processes and outcomes.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and apply knowledge of strategies, theories, and concepts within the function or across disciplines.
  • Adaptation and Leadership: Exercise management authority and adapt plans to address resource and operational challenges, ensuring effective team leadership.
Qualifications
  • Data Protection Expertise: Possess knowledge and experience of GDPR and other data protection requirements and good practice.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent Communication: Possess excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  • Credibility and Experience: Demonstrate credibility working with senior stakeholders and experience as a line manager in a similar environment.
