Job Title

As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will be an integral part of our community, ensuring mental health support for customers and helping us reach more people around the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hotlines and helplines with effective response during line surges and provide call, text and chat support when appropriate.
  • Maintain standards for effectiveness with callers and utilize scripts and best practices for all scenarios.
  • Engage with stakeholders and internal teams through effective communication channels.
  • Utilize systems to track and communicate with clients and their information.
  • Ensure patients receive follow-up care and conduct regular triage & check-ins.
  • Work collaboratively with the operations team and fellow coaches to address clients' needs effectively.
  • Have an empathetic and proactive approach to helping clients in need.
Qualifications

In order to succeed in this role, you should ideally have:

  • At least 2-4 years experience working as a helpline responder.
  • Completed training in SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy) or its equivalent.
  • Certified in Psychological First Aid and Suicide Prevention.
  • A Master's degree in Psychology is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Tagalog.
  • Be reliable and professional at all times.
  • Open to feedback and always willing to improve and develop.
  • Technical know-how (ideally with Zoom) for meetings and online development courses.
