Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled sales tax accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to work from home, utilizing high-speed, reliable internet.

About the Role
  • This role involves managing sales tax filings for multiple clients, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting or auditing, with a strong understanding of sales tax concepts and technical skills.
  • The selected individual will be responsible for monitoring client tax collection variances, identifying issues, and resolving them as needed. They will also assist with time-critical issues, including notices from state tax authorities.
  • Additional responsibilities include assisting with special client projects, such as late or amended returns, audits, and updating state information. The successful candidate will also be required to update internal documentation, workflows, and processes, contributing to improved filing and account management tools.
Key Qualifications
  • 2+ Years of Accounting or Audit Experience: A solid foundation in accounting or auditing is essential for this role.
  • Multi-Client Mastery: The ability to manage multiple clients with organized prioritization is crucial for success.
  • Excel/Google Sheets Expertise: Strong spreadsheet skills are necessary for data analysis and insights.
  • Bonus Points for US Tax Knowledge and/or CPA Certification: While not mandatory, prior experience in US tax law or certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly beneficial.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to think creatively and work effectively as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive monthly flat salary range based on experience: 92,243 PHP – 94,662 PHP
  • 43 days off per year, including 22 holidays and 21 days of paid time off
  • Three additional days off per year for volunteering
  • 100% remote work from home, with access to high-speed, reliable internet
  • Eligibility to participate in the company profit-sharing program after one year, subject to a financial literacy quiz
