Financial Accountant Role

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Accountant to oversee aged debt reports, clear receipts from payments, and ensure timely client payments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and financial knowledge to interact with clients via phone and email to resolve outstanding invoices and obtain payment commitments.

  • Generate and review aged debt reports to identify overdue payments
  • Clear receipts and match them with the corresponding payments
  • Contact clients regarding outstanding invoices
  • Negotiate payment commitments and follow up to ensure timely payments
  • Perform credit checks on new clients and update credit limits accordingly
  • Set up new clients in the system and maintain accurate records
  • Liaise with the finance team to resolve any payment discrepancies
Required Skills:
  • Previous experience in financial accounting or credit control
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to handle phone and email conversations effectively
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Knowledge of credit checks and debt collection processes
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
