Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to lead our development efforts and take charge of structuring, developing, and scaling core projects. As the first Full Stack Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in defining our technical foundation and shaping the future of our development processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end development of applications from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.
  • Architect and implement server-side logic and APIs using Node.js or similar frameworks.
  • Design, optimize, and manage relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and write efficient SQL queries.
  • Leverage Retool to design and deploy internal tools and dashboards efficiently for both internal and client-facing applications.
  • Establish scalable, secure, and maintainable system architectures that support our needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, testing protocols, and documentation practices.
  • Mentor junior developers as our team expands.
  • Break down solutions into manageable developmental tasks for efficient project execution.

Required Skills & Experience
  • 3-4 years of professional experience as a full stack developer or in a related role.
  • Proven ability to design and manage scalable solutions as a technical lead or sole developer.
  • Strong back-end development experience using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Experience with API design (REST or GraphQL) and third-party integrations.
  • Solid understanding of version control (e.g., Git) and DevOps pipelines (e.g., CI/CD, cloud deployments).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
