Job Summary:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial transactions, record-keeping, and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining organized financial records, processing invoices, and performing general bookkeeping tasks.

Key responsibilities include reconciling entries, processing vendors' invoices, maintaining records of financial transactions, conducting bank reconciliations, and submitting expense reports.

Additionally, the Accountant will be responsible for preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents and reports.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the full accounting cycle, reconciliation, and audit.

A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is required, as well as good customer service and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask, and work independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge and proficiency in automated financial and accounting reporting systems such as Quickbooks, Sage 50, ERP, and SAP
  • Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle, reconciliation, and audit
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel and Word)
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle numerous deadlines
  • Highly organized, able to multitask, and work independently
  • Ability to communicate information clearly with all levels of the organization
  • Good English communication skills – oral and written

Certifications and Experience

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting/Finance or any related degree; CPA designation is a plus
  • Proven 3+ years of previous work experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping – BPO experience is a plus but not required
