XMPie Template Developers design and implement variable data print (VDP) and cross-media marketing templates using XMPie software. Their focus is on creating high-quality, complex templates according to provided specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement uDirect, uCreate, and uProduce templates based on client requirements.
  • Create personalized templates for various channels, including print, email, web, and mobile.
  • Configure dynamic content blocks, personalization rules, and conditional logic within templates.
  • Set up data mappings between templates and customer databases or data sources.
  • Process technical requirements, interpret mockups, and ensure brand guidelines are met.
  • Configure variable elements, such as text, images, barcodes, QR codes, and charts.
  • Manage reusable asset libraries and template components.
  • Ensure accurate color management and print specifications for production-ready files.
  • Perform thorough testing of personalization logic and variable elements.
  • Generate proof sets and conduct pre-flight checks before template release.
  • Validate data merge accuracy and output across different channels.
  • Troubleshoot template issues and resolve technical problems.
Required Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the XMPie software suite (uDirect, uCreate, uProduce, Circle).
  • Understanding of VDP concepts, workflows, and database integration.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries and data manipulation.
  • At least 2 years of experience developing VDP solutions or similar marketing automation systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with ticketing systems.
  • Experience in print production, prepress, or marketing environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
