SMSF Accounting Expertise

  • Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Manage complex fund transactions including pensions, contributions, and investment portfolios to maximize returns for clients.
  • Liaise with auditors to finalise SMSF compliance reviews, ensuring seamless processes and effective communication.
  • Supervise and mentor junior SMSF accountants to develop their skills and knowledge, enhancing team performance and productivity.
  • Provide technical support to client managers, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in SMSF accounting within an Australian accounting firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of SMSF legislation, SIS Act, and ATO requirements.
  • Experience with Class Super, BGL, or other SMSF administration software.
  • Strong review and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
