Role: SMSF Accountant

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Schedule: Morning shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of SMSF workpapers
  • Preparation of SMSF financial statements in accordance with current accounting reporting standards
  • Liaise with the SMSF Auditor and resolve queries as they arise
  • Identify relevant accounting and compliance issues
  • Prepare documents for client meetings / assist with client meetings as required
  • Comply with lodgement program by meeting lodgement dates and requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
  • Completed or working towards completion of CPA
  • Completed SMSF specialist course
Demonstrated Experience & Attributes
  • 1-2 years in a similar role
  • Experience with Class Super
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
