Responsibilities:

You will have an opportunity for an SMSF Accountant to join our team. The role will involve working directly with the SMSF Manager to achieve client outcomes.

• Preparation of Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, & other compliance needs for SMSFs
• Preparation of workpapers using BGL360
• Liaise with SMSF auditor for audits
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (if required)
• Preparation of all Australian Taxation Office forms for SMSFs
• Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients
• Liaising directly with clients in relation to their SMSFs
• Researching and assisting with technical queries

To be successful in this role you must have:

• An accounting degree
• 6 months – 2 years of experience in a similar role (SMSF Accountant)
• Experience with BGL360 (highly desirable)
• Commitment to developing technical knowledge in super
• A passion for exceptional client service
• Ability and willingness to understand and follow instructions;
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team;
• Strong communication skills and;
• Organisational and time management skills;
• Attention to detail

Time & hours:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday working 7am to 4pm (Cebu time) to align closely with Australian time.
• Working hours are 7.5 hours (1.5 hrs break built into the above times).
• This is an office-based role, in Cebu (current location near Ayala in the Business Park)
