Lead Technology Architect

We are a rapidly scaling startup building an innovative technology platform that designs, deploys, and optimizes artificial intelligence agents for businesses. As our Lead Systems Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the evolution of our platform. This position requires both strong hands-on technical expertise and the ability to provide technical leadership for a small but rapidly growing engineering team.

You'll work across front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and deployment, driving architectural decisions, optimizing existing systems, and leading the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative solutions.

• Architecture & Leadership

  • Define and lead the technical architecture for our AI agent platform.

  • Mentor and guide a small team of engineers (initially 2–3, scaling up to 10+).

  • Collaborate with founders, product, and engineering to align architecture with business goals.

• Hands-On Development

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable front-end and back-end systems.

  • Code and implement solutions using Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, and Axios APIs.

  • Develop automation workflows using N8N and integrate vector stores/databases.

• Infrastructure & Deployment

  • Manage and optimize deployments using Docker, Docker Compose, and hypervisors.

  • Oversee Linux-based development environments, including scripting, automation, and performance optimization.

  • Implement and maintain secure local and remote deployments, with Cloudflare for instance management.

• Security & Networking

  • Architect and secure local networks and deployment environments.

  • Contribute to enterprise-grade security discussions as the company scales to larger customers.

• Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work across multiple projects (3–5 at a time) balancing optimization of existing systems with rollout of new features.

  • Use Git versioning and project management tools to ensure clean workflows, visibility, and collaboration.

• Demonstrate proven expertise in AI automation and workflow orchestration (e.g., N8N, JSON, vector stores, databases).

• Showcase advanced experience with Next.js 14+, Node.js, JSON, Axios API.

• Possess a strong infrastructure background with Docker/Docker Compose, Linux-based development.

• Hold hands-on experience with local networks, system security, and architecture design.

• Have experience managing remote deployments and instances (Cloudflare preferred).

• Exhibit extensive experience with Git versioning and modern project management practices.

• Display the ability to balance hands-on coding with architectural leadership in a startup environment.

• Hold deep system-level Linux development (kernel tuning, performance optimization) skills.

• Possess enterprise-grade security architecture experience.

• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and AI agent frameworks is a plus.
