Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer Designer to perform structural calculations and create technical drawings for solar farm infrastructure.


The successful candidate will be responsible for designing piles, steel structures, foundations, and solar farm buildings for renewable energy projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural calculations and analysis for piles, steel structures, and foundations.
  • Create structural drawings for solar farm structures and buildings.
  • Design foundation systems and steel framework for solar installations.
  • Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports.
  • Ensure designs meet industry codes and standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with structural design and solar farm projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in listed software programs including LPile, Mathcad, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam Revu, ProjectWise, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint, and ASCE 7 / IBC / ACI 318 / AISC Manual.
  • Knowledge of building codes and structural design standards.
  • Strong analytical and technical drawing skills.

Tools & Design Analysis:
  • LPile – Lateral load analysis of piles.
  • Mathcad – Structural engineering calculations.
  • AutoCAD – Drafting and pile layout plans.
  • Civil 3D – Site grading, surfaces, alignments.
  • Bluebeam Revu – Plan markups and PDF reviews.
  • ProjectWise – Document management and plan sharing.
  • Microsoft Word/PowerPoint – Reporting and presentations.
  • ASCE 7 / IBC / ACI 318 / AISC Manual – Structural design codes and standards.
