Job Opportunity

This role requires extensive travel to various customer sites. As a field service professional, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical testing, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic/electrical testing, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes.
  • Inspecting, diagnosing, and/or conducting crane health checks for customers nationwide.
  • Conducting operator trainings and commissioning on new or used cranes sold to customers.
  • Preparing field service reports and providing recommended parts and maintenance to customers.
  • Completing required reports and documentation, including field service reports and timesheets.
  • Attending service trainings as prescribed by the company to improve technical competencies.
  • Properly using and maintaining assigned assets, such as mobile phones, laptops, service tools, and vehicles.
  • Observing and complying with safety policies and procedures on company and customer premises.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electromechanical Technology or Mechanical Engineering, or a 2-year technical course specializing in Electromechanical technology.
  • Basic English oral and written communication skills, computer literacy, and the ability to read and interpret technical diagrams.
  • The ability to work overtime as required.
  • Extensive domestic travel may be necessary.
  • The ability to work on provincial assignments.
