Accounting Professional Job Description

Our company seeks a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of accounting information, preparing financial reports, and overseeing general ledgers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and complete record-keeping by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
  • Prepare asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing trial balances, and reconciling entries.
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other relevant documents.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close responsibilities, ensuring timely completion and coordination with team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize process efficiency and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, meeting deadlines and controls.
  • Manage deliverables to external auditors, including annual audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Lead internal audit engagements, providing expert guidance and oversight.
  • Support external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts, providing necessary information for auditors.
  • Protect organizational financial information by completing database backups and adhering to security protocols.
