Software Licensing Manager

We seek an accomplished software licensing professional to manage our organization's software assets.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of software licensing models, including proprietary, open-source, and cloud-based licenses. They will be responsible for ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory of software licenses, tracking usage, expiration dates, and renewal requirements.
- Negotiate software licensing agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Develop and implement software licensing policies and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Conduct regular software license audits, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of software licensing models.
- Experience managing enterprise software licenses.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively in a global team.
A plus if you have expertise in software asset management (SAM) practices and familiarity with license management tools.
