Job Title: Data Engineer 2

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our data engineering team. As a Data Engineer 2, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our data warehouse technical stack.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL design methodologies, including best practices, performance tuning, architecture, monitoring, and alerting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement ETL components to integrate internal and external data sources into our data warehouse.
  • Develop Matillion ETL scripts and orchestrations as required.
  • Leverage monitoring tools to track the status of ETL pipelines for performance and completion.
  • Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract and insert data into and from the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and technical architects to clarify business requirements and offer recommendations for improvements.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in working with ETL in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficient with relational and dimensional data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience in working with warehouse technologies such as SQL, Snowflake, AWS Redshift.
  • Excellent communication skills.
