Learning & Development Business Analyst

This role offers a wide range of opportunities for professional growth and development. As a Senior Learning & Development Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting learning operations with various analytics and automation solutions.

Key responsibilities include analyzing data business requirements, understanding the difference between business requirements and technical solutions, assessing customer needs and requirements, and interpreting data insights to inform business decisions.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and technology leads to develop and distribute L&D metrics reporting and visualization using business intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your analytical thinking skills to drive process improvements, reduce friction, and enhance accuracy in learner groups or analysis.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring all business processes are documented, uniform, and securely stored, and that they align with best practices and approaches related to the business analysis discipline.

As a Senior Learning & Development Business Analyst, you will also be responsible for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver next-in-class analytics solutions, influencing without authority, and working effectively in a large matrix environment.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in business analysis, including working with internal business partners and technology leads
  • Experience in complex problem-solving and process improvement, analyzing and recommending solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI business intelligence reporting and Smartsheet
  • Solid knowledge of latest innovations and emerging trends in leveraging data and providing predictive and prescriptive learning analytics
  • Proficiency with Access databases
  • Proficiency in learning management platforms (e.g., EdCast, Oracle Learning Cloud)
  • Proficiency in Office 365 Suite of Tools (MS Teams and Apps, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Proven analytical thinking skills, relationship-building, accountability, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to influence without authority, resilient, build relationships, and work effectively in a large matrix environment
